Accuses Lance Armstrong of Attempting to Destroy Him
Former three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond has accused disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong of trying to destroy him for over ten years.
LeMond's comments come after Armstrong confessed to using performance-enhancing drugs during his career.
LeMond has been a vocal critic of Armstrong for years, accusing him of cheating and lying about his drug use.
In an interview, LeMond said that Armstrong has been trying to destroy him since 2001, when LeMond first accused Armstrong of using drugs.
"He's been trying to destroy me for ten years," LeMond said. "He's been trying to ruin my reputation. He's been trying to get me fired from my job. He's been trying to get me divorced."
LeMond said that he has no vendetta against Armstrong and hopes that he can one day forgive him.
"I don't hate Lance," LeMond said. "I just want him to be held accountable for what he's done."
