Breaking News: Green Bay Packers Release Updated Team Roster

New Roster Features Key Additions and Departures

Green Bay, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers have released their updated team roster for the 2020 NFL season, featuring a number of key additions and departures.

The most notable additions include wide receiver Devin Funchess, cornerback Kevin King, and linebacker Christian Kirksey. Funchess, who was previously with the Indianapolis Colts, is expected to fill a void left by the departure of Geronimo Allison. King, formerly of the Chargers, will add depth to the Packers' secondary, while Kirksey, who played for the Browns last season, will bolster the team's linebacking corps.

Among the departures are quarterback Brett Hundley, running back Jamaal Williams, and safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Hundley, who served as Aaron Rodgers' backup for the past three seasons, has signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Williams, who has been a key contributor for the Packers since 2017, has joined the Detroit Lions. Clinton-Dix, a former Pro Bowler, was traded to the Washington Redskins earlier this offseason.

The full roster, including player positions, jersey numbers, and biographies, can be found on the Packers' official website. The team will begin their training camp on July 25th.
