Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $582 Million for Tuesday's Drawing
No Grand Prize Winner on Friday
The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $582 million after no one won the big prize on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were 16, 18, 21, 54, and 65. The Mega Ball was 5, and the Megaplier was 2x.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 pm ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of 70 numbers, and one Mega Ball is drawn from a set of 25 numbers.
Powerball Jackpot Also Growing
In addition to the Mega Millions jackpot, the Powerball jackpot is also growing.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, is an estimated $54 million. The Classic Lotto jackpot is also an estimated $54 million.
Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 pm ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of 69 numbers, and one red Powerball is drawn from a set of 26 numbers.
